Hard working performer with experience in film, television and stage in both dramatic and comedic roles.
Having left a corporate life, I've gone back to my early love of performing and comedy. Studying various acting approaches from Meisner, Hagen, Strasberg, Shutleff and others. Pulling on the best aspects of each approach, and how they are applied to various aspects of acting is Miriam Laurence's approach. I've worked with her for almost 2 years.
Along with classic acting, improv and sketch comedy has also seen me on stage. From the classic approaches to sketch comedy developed at The Second City, to the various forms of improv at The Comedy Bar, blending the skills of classic acting and improv have shown that character and relationships are the drivers of story.
I'm also a supporter of new and developing filmmakers. I make it a regular part of the fall and spring to search out student, short and independent films by local filmmakers. I enjoy working with experimental films, new scriptwriters, and crews in developing their stories.
